Miss Sue Wright and Bobbie Dean Owens exchanged wedding VOWS Saturday at the Graham Methodist Church. Dr. Ralph Hicks, of Maryville, performed the double-ring ceremony before an arch decorated with huckleberry and gladiola, flanked by candelabra and baskets of flowers.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wright, Graham, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur L. Owens, Yuma, Ariz.

Mrs. Rollin Noble, Mt. Ayr, Ia., played the traditional wedding music and accompanied Paul Leeper, who sang “I Love Thee,” “Through the Years,” and “The Wedding Prayer.”

Gown of Silk Crystalluria The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length gown of silk crystalluria over net and bridal satin. The Sabrina neckline was finished with Chantilly lace adorned with seed pearls and sequins. The lace-trimmed voluminous skirt ended in a chapel train.

The gown was fashioned by Mrs. Dale Swartz. Her illusion fingertip-length veil was held in place by a crown of pearls. She wore lace mitts which matched the trimming on the gown and carried a colonial bouquet of pink rosebuds.

Has Three Attendants: Mrs. Larry Jones, Parkville, VAS, the matron of honor. Mrs. Rex| Stuck, Maryville, and Miss Marilyn O’Connor, Cameron, were the bridesmaids. They wore identical gowns fashioned of pale pink brocaded taffeta with deeper shades of George Green pink chiffon forming draped necklines and extending in the back to the hemline in two panels. Their headpieces were miniature veils of pink illusion and seed pearls. They wore net mitts to match their dresses and carried cascade bouquets of white gladioli.

William Owens, Yuma, Ariz., brother of the groom, was the best man. Kenneth Gabriel and C.E. Wilson, both of St. Joseph, were groomsmen. Edwin Wright, brother of the bride, and Frank King, Emporia, Kas., were ushers. Mothers wore navy, and white. The bride’s mother wore a navy sheath dress with white accessories. The groom’s mother was attired in navy and white with white accessories.

They both wore pink carnation corsages. The reception table was arranged with a wedding cake and white candles. Hostesses for the reception were the Misses Donna Sue Jones, Janice 1 Dowden, Mary Ann Logan, and Mrs. Herschel Nell. Others assisting were Mrs.

Wayne Hayzlett, Mrs. Wayne Warner, Mrs. Albert Zapf, Mrs. Glenn Acklin and Mrs. Alfred Linville.

Mrs. Mons Roll served the cake and Miss Merilyn Russell poured the punch. Mrs. Ray Miller had charge of the guest book. In charge of gifts were Mrs. C. E. Wilson, Miss Barbara Wilson, and Mrs. William Ovens. To Teach at Savannah

The bride is a graduate of Northwest State College and will teach in the Savannah school system this fall.

Her sorority is Sigma Sigma Sigma. The groom served two years as an air cadet and, in the past year, attended Northwest State College. He will resume his studies at the College this fall. His fraternity is Tau Kappa Epsilon. The couple will reside in Savannah following a short wedding trip.
